Have you checked your tyres recently?

You should check your tyres are in good condition and inflated to the correct pressure regularly, especially if you are about to embark on a long journey in your vehicle.

You can usually find the manufacturers recommended tyres pressures on the drivers door aperture or on the inside of the fuel flap.

Making sure your tyres are correctly inflated is important because the heavier the load in or on the vehicle, the more pressure is being pushed through the cars tyres.

Having under inflated tyres can affect grip and handling, making your car unpredictable when it is driving.

Your under inflated tyres will also wear more quickly as more of the the tyre is in contact with the road.

Under inflated tyres take more power to turn the drive, thus meaning you face increasing fuel bills the longer you drive on under inflated tyres.
